How much WIND can you handle? Detroit Kiteboarding is again teaming up with Alize Travel of Brazil to bring you an opportunity for the kite experience of your dreams. We'll spend eight days on the water in November in the state of Ceara on the northern coast of Brazil where the wind blows 18-30kts daily, the water is 84 degrees, and the kite beach is your front yard! In these eight days expect a season or more's worth of progress as the kiteboarding conditions are IDEAL.
We'll depart Friday Nov. 5th and return home Sunday Nov. 14th, 2010.
Upon arrival in Fortaleza, we'll head directly to Ihlo do Guajiru, an ecological and Kiteboarding paradise. Guajiru features flat-water lagoon riding as well as small ocean waves. After 6 days of hard kiting we'll venture south to a beachfront pousada in Taiba and spend 2 days at the famous lagoon there. The windy season in northern Brasil brings a steady and strong breeze, you can expect to spend lots of time on your 7 through 12 meter kites.
